देहरादून। प्रदेशभर में मनाये जा रहे गढ़भोज दिवस पर सूबे के विद्यालयी शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने उत्तराखंड के परम्परागत अनाजों को बढ़ावा देने के लिये सभी राजकीय विद्यालयों में राज्य स्तरीय निबंध प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन करने का ऐलान किया है। जिससे उत्तराख्ांड की युवा पीढ़ी को अपनी संस्कृति व परम्परागत ज्ञान के साथ ही पहाड़ के अनाजों के बारे में भी जानकारी हासिल हो सके।
यह बात विद्यालयी शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. रावत ने हिमालयन पर्यावरण जड़ी-बूटी एग्रो संस्थान ‘जाड़ी’ एवं पर्वतीय विकास शोध केन्द्र के तत्वाधान में राजीव गांधी नवोदय विद्यालय रायपुर देहरादून में आयोजित गढ़भोज दिवस एवं सम्मान-2023 समारोह में कही। डॉ. रावत ने कहा कि भारत सरकार ने देश में मोटे अनाज को बढ़ावा देने के लिये केन्द्रीय बजट में वित्तीय प्रावधान करते हुये अन्नश्री योजना शुरू की है, ताकि देशभर में परम्परागत मोटे अनाजों (मिलेट्स) के उत्पादन को बढ़ावा देकर किसानों की आय को दोगुना किया जा सके। यही नहीं प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के प्रस्ताव पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ ने वर्ष 2023 को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मिलेट्स ईयर घोषित किया है। जिसके तहत पूरी दुनियां में मोटे अनाजों को बढ़ावा देने के लिये विभिन्न स्तरों पर कार्य किये जा रहे हैं। डॉ. रावत ने बताया कि राज्य में भी सहकारिता विभाग के माध्यम से मोटे अनाजों मंडुवा, झंगोरा, चौलाई आदि की खरीद सीधे किसानों से की जा रही है जिससे किसानों को अच्छी खासी आमदानी हो रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि राज्य सरकार ने प्रदेश के विद्यालयों में दिये जा रहे मिड-डे मीड में भी मोटे अनाजों को शामिल किया है, जिससे छात्र- छात्राओं को पौष्टिक आहार मिल रहा है। विद्यालयी शिक्षा मंत्री ने बताया कि राज्य में उत्पादित मोटे अनाजों पर राजकीय विद्यालयों में निबंध प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया जायेगा। जिसमें बेहतर प्रदर्शन करने वाले छात्र-छात्राओं को प्रदेश एवं जनपद स्तर पर सम्मानित एवं पुरस्कृत किया जायेगा।
गढ़भोज कार्यक्रम में आयोजकों द्वारा शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत को आज उनके जन्मदिवस पर शॉल, स्मृति चिन्ह व बुके देकर सम्मानित किया गया। इसके साथ ही डॉ रावत द्वारा पहाड़ी अनाजों एवं व्यंजनों पर आधारित पुस्तक लिखने के लिये प्रदेश की तीन शिक्षिकाओं हरिद्वार से डॉ. नीतू गुप्ता, डॉ. श्वेता तथा रानीखेत अल्मोड़ा से डॉ. नमिता बिष्ट को शॉल एवं स्मृति चिन्ह भेंट कर सम्मानित किया गया, जबकि नशा मुक्ति केन्द्र में गढ़भोज को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिये देहरादून के उदय प्रताप सिंह को भी सम्मानित किया गया।
इस मौके पर गढ़भोज अभियान के प्रणेता द्वारिका प्रसाद सेमवाल, संस्था के अध्यक्ष डॉ. अरविंद दरमोड़ा, तत्व संस्था की सचिव आकांक्षा जायसवाल, गिरधारी बोरा, प्रो. जे.पी. पचौरी, प्रो. एम.एस.एम. रावत, प्रो. के.डी. पुरोहित, डॉ. ममता, डॉ. विनोद कुमार, डॉ. यतीश वशिष्ठ, सुभाष रमोला, एपीडी समग्र शिक्षा मुकुल सती, नवोदय विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या सुनीता भट्ट सहित अभियान से जुड़े विभिन्न संस्थाओं के सदस्य एवं विद्यालय के छात्र-छात्राएं उपस्थित रहे।
