सीएम धामी व पार्वती दास ने बागेश्वर की जनता का आभार जताया
बागेश्वर। उत्तराखण्ड के बागेश्वर उपचुनाव में भाजपा प्रत्याशी पार्वती दास ने कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी बसंत कुमार को 2321 मतों के अंतर से हरा दिया। 14 राउंड की गिनती के बाद पार्वती देवी कुल 2321 मतों से विजयी हुई।
दूसरी ओर, कांग्रेस कड़ी टक्कर देते हुए हार कर भी जीत गयी। कम अंतर वाला बागेश्वर का चुनावी परिणाम भाजपा के लिए खतरे की घण्टी भी बजा गया।
गौरतलब है कि अप्रैल 2023 में भाजपा मंत्री चंदन रामदास के निधन के बाद भाजपा ने पार्वती दास ने बागेश्वर से उपचुनाव में टिकट दिया। इससे पूर्व, 2022 के विधानसभा चुनाव में चंदन रामदास ने लगभग 11 हजार मतों से जीत हासिल की थी। चंदन रामदास ने कांग्रेस के रंजीत दास को हराया था। इस उपचुनाव के दौरान रंजीत दास कांग्रेस छोड़ भाजपा में शामिल हो गए।
इस झटके के बाद कांग्रेस ने आप पार्टी के नेता बसंत कुमार को तोड़ कर नुकसान के भरपाई की कोशिश की। बसंत कुमार 2022 के चुनाव में 15768 मत ले गए थे।
इस चुनाव में भाजपा के अंदर भितरघात के भी चर्चा रही। तीन सितम्बर को प्रदेश अध्यक्ष महेंद्र भट्ट के केंद्रीय पर्यवेक्षक के आचरण के खिलाफ चुनाव आयोग को पत्र लिखने से साफ जाहिर हो गया था कि मुकाबला कांटे का होने जा रहा है। और तीन हजार से कम अंतर की जीत ने इस आशंका को और भी पुख्ता कर दिया।
सहानुभूति लहर के बावजूद भाजपा की जीत का अंतर घटना नये राजनीतिक हालात की ओर इशारा कर रहा है। बेशक, कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी बागेश्वर में चुनाव हार गए लेकिन टक्कर ठीक ठाक दे गए। 2022 के जीत के अंतर को दोहरा नहीं पाने वाली भाजपा को 2024 के लिए नये सिरे से मशक्कत करनी पड़ेगी।
2024 में 2019 का इतिहास दोहराने का सपना देख रही भाजपा नेतृत्व को प्रदेश सरकार से लेकर संगठन तक एक दमदार टीम को मैदान में उतारना होगा। सीएम धामी को भी कैबिनेट विस्तार व दायित्व वितरण में जुझारू व स्वच्छ छवि के नेता कार्यकर्ताओं को जगह देनी होगी । नहीं तो टुकड़ों में बंटी होने के बावजूद कांग्रेस 2024 में भाजपा को नाकों चने चबवाने में कोई कोर कसर नहीं छोड़ेगी।
2022 विधानसभा चुनाव का परिणाम
भाजपा-कांग्रेस के अलावा यूकेडी से अर्जुन कुमार देव, सपा से भगवती प्रसाद व उत्तराखण्ड परिवर्तन पार्टी के भगवत कोहली भी चुनावी मैदान में खड़े थे।
पांच सितंबर को हुए चुनाव में लगभग 56 प्रतिशत मतदाताओं ने अपने मत का प्रयोग किया।
मतगणना से दो दिन पहले 3 सितम्बर को भाजपा के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष महेंद्र भट्ट ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त से केंद्रीय पर्यवेक्षक राजेश की लिखित में शिकायत की थी (देखें पत्र)।पत्र में कांग्रेस के सक्रिय सदस्य के तौर पर काम करने का आरोप लगाया।
इसके अलावा बागेश्वर की डीएम की शिकायत के बाद चुनाव आयोग ने जांच के आदेश भी दिए।
भाजपा मंत्री चंदन रामदास के निधन के बाद भाजपा ने उनकी पत्नी पार्वती देवी को उपचुनाव में टिकट दिया।
