जोशीमठ -मलारी हाईवे पर जोशीमठ से 13 किमी आगे ढाक गदेरे पर अभी तक सिंगल लेन पुल से आवाजाही होती थी। पुल पुराना होने के साथ ही जर्जर हालत में पहुंच गया था।
उत्तराखंड के चमोली जिले में भारत चीन सीमा को जोड़ने वाले जोशीमठ-मलारी हाईवे पर सीमा सड़क संगठन (बीआरओ) ने ढाक नाले में स्टील गार्डर पुल तैयार कर दिया है। पुल शुरू होने पर सीमांत क्षेत्र के ग्रामीणों सहित सेना और आईटीबीपी के जवानों की आवाजाही सुगम हो जाएगी। पुल का उद्घाटन 19 जनवरी को रक्षामंत्री राजनाथ सिंह की ओर से किया जाना प्रस्तावित है।
इन दिनों सेना व प्रशासन की ओर से इसको लेकर तैयारियां की जा रही हैं।जोशीमठ मलारी हाईवे पर जोशीमठ से 13 किमी आगे ढाक गदेरे पर अभी तक सिंगल लेन पुल से आवाजाही होती थी। पुल पुराना होने के साथ ही जर्जर हालत में पहुंच गया था। सेना, आईटीबीपी के साथ सीमांत क्षेत्र के ग्रामीणों की आवाजाही प्रभावित न हो इसके लिए बीआरओ ने ढाक नाले पर 93 मीटर स्पान का स्टील गार्डर पुल बना दिया है।
इससे सीमा की अग्रिम चौकी नीती पास, रिमखिम सहित अन्य जगह पर आवाजाही सुगम हो जाएगी।19 जनवरी को होगा उद्घाटन
पुल का उद्घाटन 19 जनवरी को रक्षामंत्री राजनाथ सिंह की ओर से किया जाना प्रस्तावित है। इन दिनों जोशीमठ से ढाक तक सड़क दुरुस्त करने व गड्ढों को भरने का काम तेजी से किया जा रहा है। वहीं बीआरओ के अधिकारी ने बताया कि पुल का निर्माण दिसंबर 2018 में शुरू हुआ। 17.80 करोड़ की लागत से पुल का निर्माण हुआ है।
