तीन छात्रावास को 7.35 करोड़ स्वीकृत, दो के मांगे प्रस्ताव

देहरादून। भारत सरकार ने प्रधानमंत्री जनजाति आदिवासी न्याय महाअभियान योजना (पीएम जनमन) के तहत प्रदेश के जनजातीय क्षेत्रों के स्कूली बच्चों के लिये तीन छात्रावास की स्वीकृति प्रदान की है। इसके लिये केन्द्रीय सरकार ने रू0 7.35 करोड़ की धनराशि स्वीकृत की है। इसके अलावा दो अन्य छात्रावासों के निर्माण हेतु और प्रस्ताव मांगे हैं, जिसमें एक बालिका छात्रावास भी शामिल है। पीएम जनमन योजना के तहत राज्य को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर छात्रावास स्वीकृत किये जाने पर सूबे के विद्यालयी शिक्षा मंत्री डा. धन सिंह रावत ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी तथा केन्द्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान का आभार जताया।
सूबे शिक्षा मंत्री डा. धन सिंह रावत ने बताया कि केन्द्र सरकार ने पीएम जनमन योजना के तहत जनजातीय छात्रों के लिये राज्य के ऊधमसिंह नगर जनपद के अंतर्गत कुल्हा गदरपुर में 100 बेड, देहरादून के सभावाला तथा पौड़ी गढ़वाल के हल्दूखत्ता लक्षमपुर कोटद्वार में 50-50 बेड के छात्रावासों को स्वीकृति दी है। जिसके लिये केन्द्र सरकार ने रू0 7.35 करोड़ की धनराशि भी जारी कर दी है। इसके अलावा केन्द्र सरकार ने ऊधमसिंह नगर के बाजपुर बरहनी में 100 बेड तथा गदरपुर में बालिकाओं हेतु 50 बेड के छात्रावास का प्रस्ताव मांगा है। विभागीय मंत्री ने बताया कि राज्य परियोजना निदेशक समग्र शिक्षा उत्तराखंड की ओर से उक्त दोनों छात्रावासों के प्रस्ताव भी भारत सरकार को भेज दिये गये हैं। जिनके शीघ्र स्वीकृत होने की उम्मीद है। डा. रावत ने कहा कि सूबे में पीएम जनमन योजना के तहत छात्रावासों का निर्माण होने से जनजातीय क्षेत्र के बोक्सा, थारू व वनराजी छात्र-छात्राओं को बेहतर सुविधाएं दी जा सकेगी ताकि वह अपनी पढ़ाई को सुचारू रूप से पूर्ण कर सके। विभागीय मंत्री ने बताया कि भारत सरकार की उक्त योजना विशेष रूप से कमजोर जनजातीय समूहों की सामाजिक आर्थिक स्थितियों में सुधार के लिये शुरू की गई है। जिसके तहत जनजातीय परिवारों व बस्तियों को सुरक्षित आवास, स्वच्छ पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य एवं पोषण, सड़क एवं दूरसंचार कनेक्टिविटी एवं स्थाई आजीविका हेतु बुनियादी सुविधाएं प्रदान की जा रही है। जिसका लाभ प्रदेश की कमजोर जनजातीय समूहों को भी मिल रहा है।
