सूबे की विषम भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों एवं अन्य कारणों से उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में प्रवेश लेने से वंचित रह गये छात्र-छात्राओं को प्रवेश के लिये एक और मौका दिया जायेगा। प्रवेश से वंचित छात्र-छात्राओं का नजदीकी महाविद्यालयों एवं विश्वविद्यालयों में ऑफलाइन पंजीकरण कराने के निर्देश विभागीय अधिकारियों को दे दिये गये हैं। ऑफलाइन पंजीकरण छात्र-छात्राओं को अंतिम मौका देते हुये एक बार पुनः समर्थ पोर्टल खोला जायेगा।
सूबे के उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने अपने शासकीय आवास पर उच्च शिक्षा विभाग की समीक्षा बैठक ली। जिसमें उन्होंने विभिन्न कारणों से उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में प्रवेश से वंचित रह गये छात्र-छात्राओं को अंतिम मौका देने को कहा। उन्होंने बताया कि विद्यालयी शिक्षा परिषद की परीक्षाफल सुधार परीक्षा में उत्तीर्ण 12वीं कक्षा के छात्र-छात्राओं, केन्द्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों में प्रवेश से वंचित छात्रों एवं अन्य कारणों से प्रवेश न ले पाने वाले छात्र-छात्राओं को राज्य विश्वविद्यालयों एवं राजकीय महाविद्यालयों में प्रवेश दिलाने के लिये ऑफलाइन पंजीकरण कराने के निर्देश संबंधित अधिकारियों को दे दिये गये हैं। ऑफलाइन पंजीकरण कराने वाले छात्र-छात्राओं की संख्या के आधार पर एक सप्ताह के लिये अंतिम बार समर्थ पोर्टल खोल दिया जायेगा ताकि संबंधित महाविद्यालय एवं विश्वविद्यालय अपने यहां पंजीकृत छात्रों का पोर्टल पर ऑनलाइन डाटा अपलोड कर सकेंगे।
बैठक में अपर सचिव उच्च शिक्षा आशीष श्रीवास्तव, निदेशक उच्च शिक्षा प्रो. सी.डी. सूंठा, संयुक्त निदेशक डॉ. ए.एस. उनियाल अन्य विभागीय अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
नये महाविद्यालयों के भवनों को शीघ्र मिलेगी भूमि
सूबे के उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने आज शासकीय आवास पर नव सृजित राजकीय महाविद्यालयों को भूमि आवंटन को लेकर विभागीय बैठक ली। जिसमें संबंधित जनपदों के जिलाधिकारियों एवं उप जिलाधिकारियों एवं संबंधित महाविद्यालयों के प्राचार्यों ने वर्चुअल माध्यम से प्रतिभाग किया। विभागीय मंत्री ने बताया कि राज्य सरकार ने प्रदेश में उच्च शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने के लिये प्रत्येक ब्लॉक में नये महाविद्यालयों स्थाना की है। जिनमें से कई महाविद्यालयों को भूमि उपलब्ध करा दी गई है, जबकि कुछ महाविद्यालयों को अभी तक भूमि आवंटित नहीं हो पायी है। जिसको लेकर संबंधित जनपदों के जिलाधिकारियों एवं विभागीय अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक कर शीघ्र भूमि उपलब्ध कराने के निर्देश दे दिये गये हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि शीघ्र ही राजकीय महाविद्यालय खाड़ी (टिहरी), मोरी (उत्तरकाशी), रामगढ़ (नैनीताल), देहरादून शहर, भोपतवाला (हरिद्वार), नानकमत्ता (ऊधमसिंह नगर) एवं राजकीय महाविद्यालय हल्द्वानी शहर को भूमि उपलब्ध करा दी जायेगी।
