स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. रावत ने ग्रहण किया टाटा मेमोरियल अवार्ड

कहा, विभागीय कार्मिकों का बढ़ेगा मनोबल, नई ऊर्जा का होगा संचार

नई दिल्ली/देहरादून। स्वास्थ्य विभाग उत्तराखंड को सोमवार को नई दिल्ली स्थित इंडिया हैबिटेट सेंटर में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में प्रतिष्ठित ‘जेआरडी टाटा मेमोरियल अवार्ड’ से नवाजा गया। यह अवार्ड उत्तराखंड को 42 विभिन्न स्वास्थ्य सूचकांकों में देश भर में बेहतर प्रदर्शन के लिए दिया गया जिसे चिकित्सा स्वास्थ्य एवं चिकित्सा शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ धन सिंह रावत ने स्वयं ग्रहण किया। उन्होंने कहा कि अवार्ड मिलने से स्वास्थ्य विभाग के कार्मिकों का मनोबल बढ़ने के साथ ही उनमें एक नई ऊर्जा का संचार भी होगा, जिससे भविष्य में स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में राज्य में और बेतहर कार्य किये जा सकेंगे।

नई दिल्ली में आयोजित जेआरडी टाटा मेमोरियल अवार्ड समारोह के मौके पर प्रदेश के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने कहा कि माननीय प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी जी के मार्गदर्शन में प्रदेश सरकार विभिन्न योजनाओं से आम जनमानस को स्वास्थ्य लाभ दे रही है जिसके फलस्वरुप हाई फोकस बड़े राज्यों की श्रेणी में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के बेहतर प्रदर्शन के लिए उत्तराखंड को राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर प्रथम स्थान के लिये चयनित कर जेआरडी टाटा मेमोरियल अवार्ड प्रदान किया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि अवार्ड मिलने से स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों का मनोबल बढ़ेगा जिससे वह प्रदेश में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को और अधिक बेहतर करने के लिये भी प्रेरित होगें। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के सुदृढ़ीकरण एवं विस्तारीकरण के लिये प्रतिबद्ध है, इसके लिये समय-समय पर सरकार द्वारा स्वास्थ्य चिंतन शिविरों का आयोजन किया जा रहा है जिसमें आम लोगों की प्रतिक्रियाओं, सुझावों एवं शिकायतों का संकलन कर उन पर प्रभावी कदम उठाये जा रहे हैं। पॉपुलेशन फाउंडेशन ऑफ इंडिया की ओर से आयोजित इस सम्मान समारोह में टाटा सन्स के चैयरमैन नटराजन चंद्रशेखरन द्वारा डॉ. रावत को स्मृति चिह्न के साथ पांच लाख की धनराशि का चैक सौंपा गया।

जेआरडी टाटा द्वारा 1970 में पॉपुलेशन फाउंडेशन ऑफ इंडिया संस्था की स्थापना की गई थी, जिसको महिला संवेदनशीलता, जनसंख्या, स्वास्थ्य एवं विकास नीतियों के क्षेत्र में पांच दशकों का शोध अनुभव है। यह संस्था सरकारी व निजी क्षेत्र के विशेषज्ञों से समावेशित प्रख्यात प्रबंधन परिषद् एवं परामर्श समिति के मार्गदर्शन में कार्य करती है। जेआरडी टाटा के निधन के उपरांत इस संस्था ने राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर जेआरडी मेमोरियल अवार्ड की स्थापना की, जिसके माध्यम से सर्वोच्च प्रदर्शन करने वाले राज्यों एवं जिलों को सम्मानित किया जाता है।

कार्यक्रम में टाटा सन्स के चैयरमैन नटराजन चंद्रशेखरन, पॉपुलेशन फ़ाउंडेशन ऑफ इंडिया (पी.एफ.आई.) के चेयरपर्सन गर्वनिंग बॉडी डॉ श्रीनाथ रेड्डी, एक्ज़िक्यूटिव डेरक्टर पॉपुलेशन फ़ाउंडेशन ऑफ इंडिया पूनम मूटरेजा व विभिन्न राज्यों के प्रतिनिधि मौजूद रहे।
