देहरादून । अयोध्या में राम मंदिर निर्माण के बाद विपक्षी दलों के नेताओं के भाजपा में जाने का सिलसिला जोर पकड़ गया है। कांग्रेस के कई नेता भाजपा में शामिल हो चुके हैं। विपक्षी दल कांग्रेस में भगदड़ मच गई है।
इस कड़ी में बुधवार को पौड़ी के पाबो ब्लॉक प्रमुख श्रीमती रजनी रावत ने अपने समर्थकों के साथ कांग्रेस छोड़कर भाजपा का दामन थाम लिया । प्रदेश अध्यक्ष महेंद्र भट्ट ने यमुना कालोनी स्थित अपने आवास पर सभी का पटका और फूल माला पहनाकर पार्टी में स्वागत किया ।
उन्होंने सभी की भावनाओं के संरक्षण का भरोसा दिलाते हुए कहा, केंद्र में मोदी और राज्य में धामी सरकार के विकास कार्य जनता अनुभव कर रही है ।
पार्टी की सदस्यता लेने वाली श्रीमती रावत ने कहा, मोदी और धामी के नेतृत्व में देश एवं प्रदेश का चहुमुखी विकास हो रहा है । इसी क्रम में अपने क्षेत्र हो रहे विकास कार्यों से प्रभावित होकर भाजपा की सदस्यता ली।
उनके साथ राम सिंह रावत वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता, विनोद सिंह नेगी, पूर्व ज्येष्ठ प्रमुख द्वारीखाल, दिनेश सिंह पूर्व प्रधान, जसवंत सिंह पूर्व प्रधान, अमित रावत वरिष्ठ कांग्रेसी नेता अपने समर्थकों के साथ प्रमुख रूप से भाजपा में शामिल हुए ।
