कुल 42 हजार वर्ग मीटर में बना है जौलीग्रान्ट एयरपोर्ट का टर्मिनल


डोईवाला। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने बुधवार को जौलीग्रान्ट एयरपोर्ट पर नवनिर्मित टर्मिनल भवन फेज-2 का लोकार्पण किया। इस अवसर पर केन्द्रीय नागर विमानन मंत्री ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया वर्चुअल माध्यम से जुड़े थे। द्वितीय चरण में जौलीग्रान्ट एयरपोर्ट के टर्मिनल का 14 हजार वर्ग मीटर विस्तार किया गया। अब एयटरपोर्ट के टर्मिनल का कुल विस्तार 42 हजार वर्ग मीटर में हो चुका है। जौलीग्रांट एयरपोर्ट का टर्मिनल दो चरणों में 486 करोड़ की लागत से बना है। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने केन्द्रीय नागर विमानन मंत्री ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि उनके नेतृत्व में नागरिक उड्डयन के क्षेत्र में तेजी से कार्य हो रहे हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने उनके अनुरोध पर पिथौरागढ़-हिंडन हवाई सेवा की प्रक्रिया शुरू करने और इमरजेंसी मेडिकल सर्विस के लिए हेलीकॉप्टर की उत्तराखण्ड से शुरूआत करने की बात कहे जाने पर केन्द्रीय नागर विमानन मंत्री का आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान में भारतीय नागरिक उड्डयन उद्योग अमेरिका और चीन के बाद घरेलू यातायात में तीसरे स्थान पर है, इसके लिए उन्होंने नागर विमानन मंत्री को बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में हवाई सेवाओं का तेजी से विस्तार हुआ है। पिछले कुछ वर्षों से हवाई यात्रा परिवहन का सस्ता, तेज एवं विश्वसनीय साधन होने के कारण लोगों में अत्यन्त लोकप्रिय बनी है। यह प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की दीर्घकालिक सोच के कारण ही संभव हो पाया है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आज प्रदेश के नागरिक उड्डयन विभाग द्वारा देवभूमि की देवतुल्य जनता के अतिरिक्त भारतीय संस्कृति और परम्परा के अनुसार ’अतिथि देवों भवः’ के सिद्धांत का पालन करते हुए प्रदेश के बाहर के लोगों को भी सस्ती हवाई सेवा उपलब्ध कराने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इससे एक ओर जहाँ राज्य को अधिक राजस्व प्राप्ति हो रही है, वहीं दूसरी ओर आम जनमानस को सरल एवं सस्ती हवाई सेवा उपलब्ध करायी जा रही है। भारत सरकार की ’’उड़े भारत का हर नागरिक’’ योजना के अन्तर्गत प्रदेश के विभिन्न सुदूरवर्ती क्षेत्रों में बेहतर हवाई सेवा प्रदान की जा रही है। वर्तमान में इस योजना के अंतर्गत 13 हेलीपोर्ट्स का निर्माण सहस्त्रधारा, चिन्यालीसौड, गौचर, हल्द्वानी, नैनीताल, अल्मोड़ा, नई टिहरी, श्रीनगर, मसूरी, जोशीमठ, धारचूला, हरिद्वार में भी किया जा रहा है। उत्तराखंड धार्मिक एवं पर्यटन की दृष्टि से एक महत्वपूर्ण राज्य है। राज्य सरकार का प्रयास है कि श्रद्धालुओं एवं पर्यटकों को राज्य में आवागमन के लिए हर प्रकार की सुविधा मिले। इसमें हवाई सेवाएं महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकती हैं।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जौलीग्रांट एयरपोर्ट को अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर का बनाने के लिए लगातार प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं। इसी के साथ-साथ पंतनगर एयरपोर्ट को अंतरराट्रीय एयरपोर्ट के रूप में विकसित करने के लिए एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया द्वारा ओएलएस सर्वे भी कर लिया गया है। पिछले माह ही जौलीग्रांट से पिथौरागढ़ के मध्य हवाई सेवा का शुभारंभ किया गया। जौलीग्रांट एयरपोर्ट से देहरादून-अल्मोड़ा-पिथौरागढ़ के मध्य हैली सेवा की शुरूआत की थी, इसको भी नियमित करने की हमारी योजना है। निकट भविष्य में चिन्यालीसौड़ व गौचर से छोटे एयर क्राफ्ट की सेवाओं को शामिल करने के संबंध में भी हम कार्य कर रहे हैं, भारत सरकार से इसके लिए अनुरोध किया जा रहा है। कुछ माह पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री ने आदि कैलाश और जागेश्वर धाम के दर्शन किये थे, उसके बाद आदि कैलाश और जागेश्वर धाम में पर्यटकों की संख्या तेजी से बढ़ रही है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी उत्तराखंड के पर्यटक स्थलों को देश विदेश में नई पहचान दिला रहे हैं।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रदेश के अंदर हवाई सेवा को बढ़ाये जाने हेतु क्षेत्रीय हवाई संपर्क योजना के अतिरिक्त अन्य हेलीपोर्ट का भी निर्माण राज्य सरकार द्वारा गौजियाना (घनसाली), गैरसैण (चमोली), देघाट-सियालदे(अल्मोड़ा), जखोल एवं जोशीयाड़ा (उत्तरकाशी), डीडीहाट (पिथौरागढ़) में कराया जा रहा है। इसके साथ ही हमारे द्वारा प्रदेश के विभिन्न पर्यटक केंद्रों के दर्शन हेतु जॉय राइड सेवा तथा हिमालयन दर्शन सेवा भी प्रस्तावित है। इन सेवाओं के प्रारंभ होने से राज्य में पर्यटन को और अधिक बढ़ावा मिलेगा।

केन्द्रीय नागर विमानन मंत्री ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया ने कहा कि उनके लिए यह क्षण कई पहलुओं से भावुक और महत्वपूर्ण क्षण है। उन्होंने कहा कि देवभूमि उत्तराखण्ड से उनका पहले से नाता है। उन्होंने 05 साल उत्तराखण्ड से शिक्षा ग्रहण की। उत्तराखण्ड की आध्यात्मिक शक्ति सम्पूर्ण विश्व में अनूठी है। केन्द्रीय नागर विमानन मंत्री ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के साथ उन्हें केन्द्रीय नागर विमानन मंत्री बनने के बाद सबसे पहले जौलीग्रांट एयरपोर्ट के टर्मिनल के प्रथम फेज के कार्यों का लोकार्पण करने का अवसर मिला था। आज देहरादून के इस एयरपोर्ट से देश के 13 शहरों के लिए हवाई सेवा चल रही है।

केन्द्रीय नागर विमानन मंत्री ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया ने कहा कि मंत्रालय द्वारा पिथौरागढ़-हिंडन हवाई सेवा के लिए कार्यवाही शुरू की जा चुकी है। उन्होंने कहा कि इमरजेंसी मेडिकल सर्विस के लिए हेलीकॉप्टर की देश में उत्तराखण्ड से शुरूआत की जा रही है। एम्स ऋषिकेश मंड इसके लिए हेलीकॉप्टर की व्यवस्था की जायेगी। 150 किलोमीटर के दायरे के अन्तर्गत हेलीकॉप्टर द्वारा मरीजों को लाने की व्यवस्था की जायेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि इस एयरपोर्ट से उत्तराखण्ड के अन्य स्थानों को मुख्यमंत्री की सहायता से और तेजी से जोड़ा जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड में तीन एयरपोर्ट देहरादून, पंतनगर और पिथौरागढ़ विकसित करने की पहल की है। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड में 2014 में मात्र एक हेलीपोर्ट था। जो अब 10 हो चुके हैं, उड़ान 5.0 योजना तक राज्य में 21 हेलीपोर्ट बनाने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है।

इस अवसर पर सांसद एवं पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक, राज्यसभा सांसद नरेश बंसल, विधायक बृज भूषण गैरोला, वर्चुअल माध्यम से सचिव नागर उड्डयन वुमलुनमंग वुअलनाम, अध्यक्ष एएआई संजीव कुमार उपस्थित थे।
